My dining experience to remember, first I would like to thank my fellow blogger Mark for inviting in the IBC 2012 Challenge, In the beginning was not curious but when I start doing some research about Barbara’s Restaurant it amazed me and wondered if the articles are true…(that’s one reason I joined this IBC 2012 Challenge)
Barbara’s, the restaurant, opened its doors to public in February 1993 and its historical location across San Agustin Church became a perfect venue for celebrations following weddings, baptismal and birthdays.
Step into a place reminiscent of old world elegance. Located along the historical General Luna street in Intramuros.

The restaurant evokes the charm and beauty of a bygone era. Go up the intricately-carved staircase and you will be greeted by magnificent silver-gilted mirrors. Walk into the main hall and experience the luxury of fine dining.
With high ceilings and crystal chandeliers, the setting is a world-apart from your modern-day shopping mall restaurant. Barbara's offers buffet lunches and dinners as well as A la Carte choices.
The Food was great plus the ambiance is like your back in the 18th century but there is a catch try to watch the performance of there in house student performers.
I was impressed in there props and performance, plus I noticed that the costume was carefully tailored for each performer.
I was amazed in there performance ! Two Thumbs up…from all the cultural show I had watched in different parts of the Philippine archipelago to be honest I never got bored while watching them.
I did some research about the performers, they are currently students in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila other known as PLM located inside the Intramuros walls.
