PNP Chief Police Director General Ronald Dela Rosa attended the opening ceremony of the 24th Defense and Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) organized by the Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers of the Philippines, Inc. (AFAD) as the guest of honor and speaker on July 14 at the Mega Trade Hall, SM Mega Mall in Mandaluyong City.
The five-day event includes free seminars on the License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF), exhibits of new firearms, gun accessories and shooting apparel, and Firearms Caravan.
AFAD also allotted a booth in honor of the policemen who were killed while performing their duty of protecting the public.
The PNP through the Civil Security Group (CSG) and Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) is in partnership with AFAD in promoting responsible gun ownership in the country. (PNP-PIO Photo)
